Terry began an interest in construction at a young age watching his father who worked in the construction field. He earned his associate degree in civil engineering and was licensed by the State of North Carolina in 1983 as a General Contractor and in 1988 as an NC Professional Land Surveyor. In 1986, he began two full-time companies for both of his services. He began the business with four employees, including him, who built homes and businesses from framing to finishing. With years of devotion and continued success built on making the client’s needs a priority the company has been able to expand and grow into a trustworthy and professional firm that clients continue to rely upon. The company has expanded to become a premier custom home building firm in Western North Carolina, and the building of your home now includes an expert group of subcontractors as Terry oversees and ensures their progress. Terry has been a volunteer firefighter for over 30 years, and coached numerous baseball, basketball, and football teams in our community. He has been giving back to the community with his time for many years. Terry especially enjoys time with his wife, Pam, and their large family. They never miss a moment to spend with their ten grandchildren, Jimmy, Grace, Colter, Maddox, Lennon, Hazel, Hinton, Nellie, Huntley, and Nova.

Stephanie, Terry’s daughter, spent her summers working for the family businesses by helping around the office, drafting maps for the surveying company, and following Terry around to learn as much as she could. She loved working with family and the construction/real estate industries and joined CSDB, Inc. full time after earning her degree from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2008. In 2009, she received her NC Real Estate License. With Terry’s guidance, she continued learning and finished her Master of Construction Management degree from Western Carolina University in 2022 and was licensed in NC as a General Contractor in 2023. Stephanie is an avid reader of any and all books and loves loud family gatherings and quiet alone time in equal measure. Jamey and Stephanie have a large family of five children and one grandchild and a growing list of animals that keep them busy!

Jamey, Stephanie’s husband, has been with CSDB, Inc. part-time since 2009. His background started in grading with our grading contractor and was a licensed General Contractor in NC in 2006. He now works with CSDB full-time since 2023 managing projects and subcontractors.

Dillon spent his childhood working with Terry in the family business and is extremely knowledgeable about building construction. He has been working with the family since 2011. He is a full-time firefighter but dedicates his days off to helping CSDB, Inc. build homes. He is an integral part of CSDB, Inc. helping to ensure the jobsites are managed daily. He spends his down time with his daughters, Nellie and Nova, and wife Staci.

Nicole started with CSDB, Inc. in 2020 and has quickly become a client’s right hand in selections and managing details of their homes. She is meticulous at managing information and helping client’s realize their potential in making small and large decisions along the process of building their dream home. She is a client coach and keeps us all moving forward in our projects. She welcomed her first son, Asher, in 2024 and enjoys her time away from the office with him and her furbabies.
